JOB DETAILS: Location: Penang, Malaysia Onsite: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week) onsite throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term. Duration: 6 months WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: We are seeking highly motivated Accounting intern/co-op to join our team. In this role – Review and approve marketing customer claims supported by appropriate and sufficient supporting documents Ensure compliances with SOX requirements related to marketing expense claims Make critical decisions or judgments based on reasonableness to accommodate business specifications Explain or provide justifications on areas of uncertainty during claim review Manage operational control processes and ensure that controls are in compliance with prevailing guidelines and standards WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Good Business partnering skills and effective communication skills in both written and spoken English Detail orientated with strong analytical & problem solving skills Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment Strong business acumen on business activities with the strong leadership and with an action oriented mindset Self-starter with a positive attitude to proactively solve problems with integrity Ability to read and communicate in Mandarin and other languages will be an added advantage #LI-DW Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
